I’m Nathan. I have MALS.
After 10 years of debilitating chronic health issues and many misdiagnoses, I was finally correctly diagnosed with MALS in 2020.
Like you, probably, I had never heard of MALS.
As I’m on my own journey toward restoring my health and overcoming MALS, I’m sharing my personal story as openly as I can so that others after me can find some guidance, answers and encouragement.
We’re here to help!
We launched this site in October 2020, so there’s still a lot of work to be done as we launch our blog, podcast, videos and resources.
Please check back soon as we hope to start sharing personal stories by November 2020.
What is MALS?
The fine folks over at The MALS Foundation explain it in more detail.
But basically, MALS is a condition where a ligament below the rib cage is positioned too closely to the main artery that carries blood to the intestines.
MALS hurts. It can cause debilitating pain, nausea and fatigue. And MALS usually correlates to many other very difficult health issues.
The good news is that MALS is treatable through surgery.
You can help!
